Our students learn and grow together in classrooms modeled around Charlotte Mason's principles and methods. We have classes from nursery to 6th grade, and offer a range of subjects, from the traditional core subjects to painting study, composer study, and poetry. We are a Christian community, dedicated to serving the Lord and honoring Him in all that we do.
The Orchard holds frequent discussion groups open to anyone interested in exploring Charlotte Mason's theories. We also gather each Monday in small groups during co-op time to read and narrate Mason's works. Two of our core missions are to share Mason's methods with the wider homeschooling community, and to support families that desire to implement these methods in their homes.
We gather every month or two to enjoy Nature Walks, and hold community events to offer students time to socialize outside of co-op session.
